As the title and tag line imply, this blog is mostly anecdotes of random computer technology, gaming, and related issues I have encountered over the years.

I am doing this for my own fun as well as to document for my memory some of the stranger, occasionally even funny, issues I have experienced using computers.

I expect to use categories and tags extensively to make it easier to find posts related to a particular topic or issue. Some posts will be about problems resolved (or ongoing), some will be about software and operating systems, and some will be about gaming and other fun with computers.

I am a retired higher ed administrator who started dabbling with computers in the early 1980’s. I’ve continued to enjoy various aspects of playing with computers and other related technology ever since. Along the way, I have learned a few things, but by no means do I consider myself an expert on any of this.
